Befriending & SEFF Calling Services

SEFF's Befriending Service is for people who have become isolated because of ill-health, disability, bereavement, or other life events. We offer support through volunteer befrienders who are trained to help those who are vulnerable by assisting them to reclaim their life. Our SEFF Befrienders can visit you in your home, accompany you on an outing, activity, or for shopping, or assist you to travel to a SEFF event or when you have hospital transport issues. Our SEFF Calling Service is a free telephone support service where you will receive a phone call once a week from one of our trained volunteers. We currently have five Calling Volunteers based across Northern Ireland and Great Britain. If you wish to avail of either service, or wish to become a volunteer, please contact the office on 028 677 23884 (option 1) and request that your details are passed to the Befriending Coordination Team.
